Penn Relays/GR Relays
The 4x100m relay and 4x400m relay travele
d over to Franklin Field on April 23rd to compete in the 121st annual Penn Relays Carnival. The 4x100m relay(Gianna Thornton, Morgan Clark, Jess Strauss, and Carolyn Strauss) team posted their 2nd fastest time this season and finished 84th out of the 242 teams in the large school division. Later that day the 4x400m relay team posted their 2nd fastest time this season and finsished 367th out of the 623 teams that compted.
On the 25th the team competed at the George Rowland Relays. aka GRR(The angriest relays in South Jersey). The team finsihed 2nd out of the 13 teams in Division 3. The Javelin Relay(Kaela Schrier and Amanda Hyde) and Shot Put Relay(Schrier, and Sarah Bowers both put in silver medal performances.
