Rowan Open
This year at Rowan saw some pretty impressive performances from our ladycheifs. Kaela Schrier started the day off Friday with a lifetime pr in the Javelin with a toss of 127' 2" which won the
Elite Javelin by almost 10'. Friday night was packed with 10 lifetime pr's and 3 more season pr's. The eveing ended with Hailey Bookwalter, Megan Gernhardt and Shannon Young all running impressive times in the 5000m Bookwalter's time of 19:33.05 was good for 7th. Gernhardt was 9th and Young was 14th. On Saturday the day started with Joelle Wash pr'ing in the triple jump with a jump of 33'. Our medal winners Saturday were the super sprint medley relay team of Gianna Thornton, Carolyn Strauss, Tricia Donahue and Morgan Clark which ran 1:52.86 for 6th. Also medaling was the 4x1500m relay team of Jess McAdams, Hailey Bookwalter, Megan Gernhardt, and Bree Gleason which ran 21:33.19 for 6th. The 4x100m relay team also posted a season best time of 50.96 and finished 9th.
