Cherokee Challenge

This year's Challenge was extra special. The 20 year anniversary since the meet started reminds me that I just keep getting older. The Marlton rec program started the day off with the future ladychiefs representing well. Gabby Moraschi was our first medal winner of the day running 13:18 to finish 14th in the freshman race. Shannon Young was our top individual in the sophomore race running 14:08 and finishing 57th. Bree Gleason saw her first ever Cherokee Challenge race running 13:14 to finish 14th. The senior race had Jess McAdams and Hailey Bookwalter posting our two fastest times of the day at 12:45(17th) and 12:56(22nd) respectively. Over all the Girls finished 12th out of 40 teams that scored. They were the 3rd team from South Jersey. Not too bad for our first test of the season, but plenty of work ahead of us.
