Cherokee Invitational
Cherokee once again hosted the Cherokee Invitational. This is a great meet for all of our novice runners to compete. A lot of great performances were seen on the track and in the field. Some notable highights were Ana Akbar dipping under 68 seconds running a liftime pr of 67.55 for 400m. Victoria Mitchelli also saw a season pr in the 100m running 14.73. Megan Staudt saw big pr's in both the 200m 30.26 and the 400m 69.73. Hayley Gazzara almost dipped under 3 minutes in the 800m running 3:01.37. Kayla Fericy cleared 7' for the first time in the pole vault and Christina Wynter threw in the 19's for the first time ever in the shot put.
